Mixed Pickles Group Show
Ruttkowski;68 proudly presents Mixed Pickles No. 13 as the beginning of a new chapter–the opening of our fifth location, dedicated to showcasing a wide array of contemporary art practices. Situated in the heart of the vibrant Ruhr area in Bochum, our new space offers artists a serene environment to immerse themselves in their creative process, as well as dedicated spaces to present their work to a broad audience.
The residency, located within the scenic Schlosspark and housed in the former premises of Galerie M, is designed to inspire and support artistic production. Originally founded in 1969 by Alexander von Berswordt-Wallrabe, Galerie M in Bochum was a pioneering institution in the contemporary art scene, having represented seminal artists such as Lee Ufan, Richard Serra, Arnulf Rainer, and Florence Henri, among many others.
For the grand opening, we’ve gathered old and new friends of the gallery, continuing our beloved Mixed Pickles tradition. This carefully curated selection will explore diverse approaches and perspectives, creating a radiant environment that unites established artists with emerging voices.
As always, we step back to let the dialogue unfold—and invite you to immerse yourself in it.
