Pablo TomekFrance

Pablo Tomek’s (b. 1988 in Paris, FR) work originates in graffiti, which he practises experimentally and illegally with his collective, PAL, generating an aura of mystery. His first experiences with art took place outside of art academies, but in the street as a self-taught graffiti artist.

In the studio, the artist has taken his practice further: he now examines the bonds between the heritage of graffiti and abstract expressionistic painting, while also misappropriating the techniques and aesthetics of manual work with a thought provoking and poignant practice which includes painting, murals, experimental publications and installations.

Tomek’s exhibitions include shows at Galerie Christophe Gaillard in Paris (2025), Galerie Christophe Gaillard in Paris (2023), Galerie Fagerstedt in Stockholm (2022), at Palais de Tokyo in Paris (2021), and Outpost Gallery in Copenhagen (2021). His works have been featured in group exhibitions at Palais de Tokyo in Paris (2023), and Gana Art Center in Seoul (2019). His works are held in collections such as MIMA Museum in Brussels, the Gothenburg Museum of Art in Sweden, and Société Générale Bank in Paris. Tomek’s works can also be found in private collections in major cities including Brussels, Cologne, Berlin, Seoul, Seattle, and New York. He lives and works in Paris.
