For ZⓈONAMACO 2024, Ruttkowski;68 presents a captivating mix of the multilayered works by José María Yturralde (b. 1942, ES).

Known for transcending traditional artistic disciplines, using an array of media, including –among others – lasers, holography, flying structures, wood, and computers, he explores nothing less but some of the fundamental questions of the human existence: time, space and infinity. Mathematical concepts and geometric forms, nature’s laws as well as spirituality, emotion and reason hereby form a holistic yet unfinished conglomeration of fragments of an ever-evolving world.

Art as sensual knowledge can link notions of the unknown, meaning and order in the human consciousness and beyond, and – as a possible tool for understanding form, structure and composition of the worldly constitution – illuminates the plurality of existence, as found in Yturralde’s unparalleled works.
