Art Cologne Palma Mallorca 2026
Ruttkowski;68 is pleased to present a duo exhibition by Dennis Buck (b. 1989, Ulm, DE) and Stefan Strumbel (b. 1979, Offenburg, DE) at the inaugural edition of Art Cologne Palma Mallorca 2026.
Developed as an extension of Art Cologne in collaboration with Art Palma Contemporani, this fair brings together a curated selection of international galleries in Palma.
In Even Softer Problems, Buck continues his exploration of painting as an embodied form, where surface, material, and gesture destabilize fixed structures of meaning. The grid remains as an anchor — softened and fragmented — balancing structure and dissolution. His titles — small poems of personal memories — echo this approach, deepening the narrative beyond the visual.
In Namaste Deutschland, Strumbel reconfigures the German national symbol of the eagle, positioning this emblem of authority within a series of yoga poses. The hardness of bronze reaches toward a softened gesture, allowing the series of sculptures to serve as an invitation for introspection and inner stillness.
Together, the artists propose a subtle shift from ridgity toward reflection, where form and meaning begin to loosen and unfold.
