Spirit Sink Group Show curated by Francesco Igory Deiana

Francesco Igory Deiana (b. 1986 in Milan, IT) presents his first curated show Spirit Sink with Ruttkowski;68 in New York. 

The show is a personal survey, curated from the chaos of my first ten years in the US after leaving Italy. Each artist featured is someone with whom I have had a deep, personal connection and have shared formative artistic experiences. Their diverse styles and mediums continually inform my creative processes, and their souls inspire me to work in opposition to superficiality. Within this sink, these spirits converge to form a cacophony of expression, a rowdy reminder of our common moments, lest it all goes down the drain. 

This grouping is a tribute to the transformative power of affection, and an attempt to spatialize the beauty that lies in our connections.
